The private Tuscan villa is in close proximity to the most popular cities and towns in the area- Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and Arezzo.



Airport Transfers
Florence Airport (FLR) offers domestic and international flights and is 23 kilometres from the Villa Mangiacane and Pisa International Airport (PSA) Bologna Airport (BLQ) are approximately 1 hour away and provides a wide range of international and domestic flights and connections.

Railway Station

Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station is a 20 minute drive from Villa Mangiacane.

Private Transfers and arriving by car
The Hotel is pleased to arrange a private car and English speaking driver to meet you, or return you to either airport or railway station. If you are arriving with your own car at the Villa Mangiacane, please proceed to the main entrance of the hotel and there is no charge for parking.

Florence Airport

Enter on Highway A11 (following green signs) and take exit for A1; then go South towards Rome and exit at the 2nd exit - Firenze Impruneta.

Drive on the SS 2 towards Tavarnuzze - blue signs - (do NOT take the superstrada Firenze-Siena!).

Pass through the town of Tavarnuzze until you find on your right a crossroad with a little bridge just after a restaurant called 'Scopeti' and the sign San Andrea in Percussina.

Go over the bridge and up to the little road (Via Scopeti) for about 3 kilometers and drive through the small village - San Andrea in Percussina (on your right you'll see the restaurant "Tavernetta Machiavelli") until you find a stop sign.

Turn right and you'll see on your right a big terracotta villa- Villa Mangiacane. Enter the first driveway on your right - there is a sign "Fattoria Mangiacane" and statues of Nepolitano mastinos on the gate posts - you have arrived!
   

Florence City Center

Drive towards the Certosa passing through the town of Galluzzo. When you find the Certosa on your right, continue driving on the main road till you arrive to the entrance of the highway (a big roundabout); do not enter the highway or the superstrada, just go towards Tavarnuzze following the blue sign.

Pass through the town of Tavarnuzze until you find on your right a crossroad with a little bridge just after a restaurant called 'Scopeti' and the sign San Andrea in Percussina.
 
Go over the bridge up to the  little road (Via Scopeti) for about 3 kilometers and drive through the small village - San Andrea in Percussina (on your right you'll see the restaurant "Tavernetta Machiavelli") until you find a stop sign.

Siena

Take the Superstrada to Firenze and exit at "San Casciano," then follow directions to San Casciano.

Drive through the town of San Casciano and turn left down towards a slip road after the Fiat dealership to San Andrea in Percussina /Romala, Spedaletto.

Pass through the small village of Spedaletto.

Then turn left at the crossroad.

A big terracotta villa- Villa Mangiacane is on your immediate right. Enter the first driveway on your right - there is a sign "Fattoria Mangiacane" and statues of Nepolitano mastinos on the gate posts - you have arrived!

An alternate route from Siena:
Take the Superstrada "Siena-Firenze" and drive until the Superstrada ends and you are at "Firenze-Certosa."

Drive on the SS 2 towards Tavarnuzze - blue signs - (do NOT take the superstrada Firenze-Siena!).

Exit the city in the direction of south, following the direction of the highway A1 (following green signs).

On the A1 you follow towards Bologna. Once you reach Bologna, go south on the highway following the signs in direction Roma (A1) and exit at "Firenze Impruneta".

If you are traveling from Venice, exit the city following the green signs of the Highway towards Padova (A13).

Once you are in Padova drive in the direction of Bologna on the A13. On the A1 you follow towards Bologna. Once you reach Bologna, go south on the highway following the signs in direction Roma (A1) and exit at "Firenze Impruneta".
